The Texas Stars won two of three games on a road trip last week and are 6-4-1 on the season. Center Jason Dickinson returned to the lineup after missing the first eight games of the season due to offseason hip surgery, and he made an immediate impact, scoring in overtime his first game back. The Stars are at home this week for two games with San Jose.
Wednesday, November 2: Texas 4 Tucson 3 (OT)
Jason Dickinson scored 3:51 into overtime as the Stars won 4-3 at Tucson. Dickinson, who last played in April during the AHL playoffs, had three shots on goal and a fighting major in his first game back following offseason hip surgery. Matej Stransky, Ethan Werek, and Mike McMurtry also scored for the Stars, who won their third straight game. Philippe Desrosiers got the start in net and stopped 19 of 22 shots.
Friday, November 4: Texas 3, Bakersfield 1
The Stars ran their winning streak to four games with a 3-1 victory at Bakersfield Friday night. Max Lagace stopped 34 shots and Ethan Werek, Austin Fyten, and Matt Mangene scored goals. Jason Dickinson registered an assist in his second game back.
Saturday, November 5: Bakersfield 5, Texas 3
The Stars' four-game winning streak ended with a 5-3 loss at Bakersfield Saturday. The Condors had a 2-0 lead by early in the second period and led 4-1 midway through the game. Austin Fyten, Cole Ully, and Nick Ebert scored goals for Texas. Max Lagace got the start in goal and stopped 11 of 15 shots before getting pulled nine minutes into the second period. Philippe Desrosiers played the rest of the way and stopped four of five shots.
*Defenseman Julius Honka is tied for second in scoring among AHL defensemen with 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists) in 11 games.
*Defenseman Mattias Backman is tied for third in the league with a plus-9 rating.
*Forward Brandon DeFazio ranks fifth in the league with 36 shots on goal.
*Honka leads the AHL in minor penalties with 9.
*Texas ranks fifth in the league in scoring at 3.55 per game.
*Texas ranks 26th in goals against at 3.45 per game.

11/6: C Justin Dowling recalled to Dallas (NHL) from Texas (AHL)
The Idaho Steelheads, Dallas' ECHL affiliate, won two of three games over the past week. The Steelheads are 5-4-1 on the season. Goaltender Landon Bow, who is under contract to the Texas Stars, has won his last three starts, stopping 107 of 112 shots. Bow is 4-2-1 for the season with a 2.68 goals-against average and .917 save percentage.
