The Texas Stars got off to a rocky start in Rockford Tuesday night, but were able to overcome a 3-0 deficit and rally for a 5-4 victory over the IceHogs.
It was the third straight road win for the Stars, who were playing their second game of a stretch that will see them play six straight on the road.
The Stars have won five of their seven last games (5-1-1-0) and have points in seven of their last eight games (5-1-1-1).
The Stars moved to 8-7-1-1 on the season, pushing them over the .500 points percentage mark for the first time in more than a month.
The Stars got goals from five different players, and the power play cashed in on all three of its opportunities. Jack Campbell, making his first start since November 10, stopped 33 of 37 shots to improve to 4-2-1 on the season.
The Stars found themselves in a hole early as Rockford rattled off three goals in the first 4:37 of the game.
