Stars will Go with Veteran Lineup, Lehtonen in Goal vs. Blues Tonight

The Dallas Stars will go with a veteran lineup for Saturday’s game at St. Louis. Kari Lehtonen gets the start in goal tonight and is expected to play the full game.

Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin and Erik Cole will be the Stars’ top line in Saturday night’s game. Shawn Horcoff will center Ray Whitney and Alex Chiasson on another line. Antoine Roussel, Vernon Fiddler and Ryan Garbutt will make up the third line.

The defense will consist of Brenden Dillon, Stephane Robidas, Sergei Gonchar, Jordie Benn, Jamie Oleksiak and Kevin Connauton.

Notes: Daley injured

*Stars defenseman Trevor Daley suffered an upper body injury in last night’s game against Florida. Daley did not skate Saturday and was scheduled to visit the doctor, according to Stars coach Lindy Ruff. There is no word on how long Daley might be out.

*D Aaron Rome (hip) skated on his own prior to this morning’s skate in Frisco. He is not expected to be ready to play until early October.
