About the Stars
The Stars (19-20-9) lost 4-3 in overtime to Washington Saturday. The Stars led 3-1 after two periods, but the Capitals scored two power-play goals in the third to tie the game and then scored 19 seconds into overtime to hand the Stars their fourth loss in the past five games (1-3-1).
"The team gave everything they had," said Stars coach Lindy Ruff. "They emptied the tank. It was a disappointing loss."
Stars forward Radek Faksa suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's game and is expected to miss at least the next two games.
Forward Tyler Seguin did not practice Monday due to illness. He is questionable for Tuesday. Forward Jamie Benn, who suffered a broken nose in Saturday's game, did not practice Monday but will play Tuesday.
Tuesday's game is the second of a six-game homestand for the Stars.
Injuries: C/RW Tyler Seguin (illness) is questionable. C Radek Faksa (lower body) is out. D Johnny Oduya (lower body), Jamie Oleksiak (hand), C/LW Mattias Janmark (knee) and RW Ales Hemsky (hip) are on injured reserve.

About Wild
The Wild (30-11-5) lost the finale of a four-game homestand, falling 4-2 to Nashville Sunday night. The Wild jumped out to a 2-0 lead 7:31 into the game, but the Predators scored four straight to win for the six time in seven games.
"You've got to be able to play with a lead," Wild coach Bruce Boudreau said. "It's tough to play with a lead in this league. … You've got to go after them and try to increase the lead rather than just hold the lead."
The Wild, who went 2-2-0 on the four-game homestand, are 19-3-1 in their past 23 games.
Wild captain Mikko Koivu missed Sunday's game due to illness.
Minnesota assigned F Kurtis Gabriel to Iowa (AHL) Monday.
Injuries: C Mikko Koivu (illness) is questionable. D Jonas Brodin (finger) and D Victor Bartley (arm) are on injured reserve.
