About the Stars

The Stars (11-9-2) are coming off a 4-1 victory over St. Louis at American Airlines Center. The Stars have picked up points in four of their last five games (3-1-1).

We did simple things. We got pucks to the net and we didn’t take penalties,” said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan. “It wasn’t a pretty hockey game to watch, but at the end of the day if you play enough of those the right way you’re going to get results. We got them tonight.”

After starting the season 2-4-1, the Stars are 9-5-1 in their last 15 games.

The Stars recalled LW Francis Wathier from the Texas Stars (AHL) on Wednesday.

Injuries: D Philip Larsen (shoulder) is probable. D Aaron Rome (foot) and LW Ray Whitney (foot) are out.
