About the Stars
The Stars (17-16-8) won 6-4 in Los Angles Monday night. The Stars squandered a two-goal lead in the third period, but Jiri Hudler scored his first goal as a Star to snap a 4-4 tie as the Stars pulled to within two points of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
"We got some good bounces," said Tyler Seguin, who had one goal and one assist. "It was a great character win. That's a big, heavy team over there and I thought we competed with them the whole night. It was one of those games and we found a way to win. It was nice."
Patrick Sharp had one goal and two assists, and Radek Faksa chipped in three assists for Dallas, which snapped a three-game losing streak.
Dallas captain Jamie Benn, who has missed the past three games with a foot injury, skated with the team Monday morning and could play Tuesday.
Tuesday's game will wrap up a three-game road trip for the Stars.
Injuries: LW Jamie Benn (foot) is questionable. C/LW Mattias Janmark (knee) and RW Ales Hemsky (hip) are on injured reserve.

About the Ducks
The Ducks (21-13-8) had a three-game winning streak snapped with a 2-1 loss to Minnesota Sunday at Honda Center. Ryan Kesler gave the Ducks a 1-0 lead in the first period, but the Wild scored twice in the second to a 2-1 lead that would hold up the rest of the game.
"We gave this one away tonight. It's not a good feeling," Kesler told media following the game. "We were the better team in the first and third periods, but in the second period, for a couple of minutes, we gave it away."
The Ducks have picked up points in seven of their past eight games (4-1-3).
Center Ryan Getzlaf (lower body) skated before practice Monday. He could join the Ducks for the morning skate on Tuesday.
Tuesday's game wraps up a five-game homestand for Anaheim.
Injuries: C Ryan Getzlaf (lower body) is day to day. F Nate Thompson (Achilles) is out. D Clayton Stoner (abdomen) and D Simon Despres (head) are on injured reserve.
