The Stars (28-8-3) defeated Nashville 5-1 Thursday night at American Airlines Center. The Stars, who were coming off a 6-3 loss to Columbus the game before, have yet to lose consecutive games this season, posting an 11-0-0 record after a loss and outscoring their opponents 50-24.

“We’re a good team at bouncing back,” said Stars center Tyler Seguin, who scored two goals. “Obviously, we knew we didn’t really play good at all in Columbus. We really had to get back to it.”

Stars forward Valeri Nichushkin left Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury. He skated Friday morning and is questionable for Saturday.

The Stars are 5-1-1 in their past seven games and 16-4-3 over their past 23 games.

Saturday’s game is the first of a three-game road trip for the Stars.

Injuries: F Valeri Nichushkin (lower body) is questionable. F Ales Hemsky (lower body) is on injured reserve.

The Devils (19-14-5) are coming off a 3-0 win in Ottawa on Wednesday. Cory Schneider made 36 saves, and Mike Cammalleri scored two goals for the Devils, who won consecutive games for the first time since Nov. 12-14.

“That was one of our keys coming into tonight was to get back-to-back [wins],” Schneider said. “To come on the road against a good team, a very good team, it feels good.”

The win was the third in the past four games for New Jersey.

F Tuomo Ruutu, who has been out due to illness, will be available for Saturday’s game.

Cory Schneider will get the start in goal vs. the Stars.

Saturday’s game is the first of a two-game homestand for the Devils.

Injuries: F Patrik Elias (knee), F Ryan Clowe (concussion) and F Jacob Josefson (lower body) are on injured reserve.
