Following practice on Wednesday afternoon, Dallas Stars players and hockey operations staff made a special visit to Franklin Middle School, bringing school supplies and tickets while also helping sort donations and visit classrooms of students affected by the recent Dallas tornadoes.

The group included captain Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, Alexander Radulov and Joe Pavelski, along with general manager Jim Nill and team alumni Marty Turco and Bob Bassen. The Stars were greeted warmly by the school, who welcomed them with signs and cheers from their cheerleading and dance squads.

As a result of tornado damage, students and faculty from Cary Middle School have been relocated to Franklin. The school is also a designated hub for donated school supplies for Dallas ISD.
