Jaromir Jagr scored two goals and Cody Eakin had a goal and an assist as the Dallas Stars defeated the Los Angeles Kings 5-2 at Staples Center Thursday night. Brenden Morrow and Antoine Roussel also scored for the Stars, who won for the sixth time in their last eight road games. Kari Lehtonen stopped 31 of 33 shots for his ninth win of the season. The Stars, who improved to 12-9-2 on the season, snapped the Kings’ six-game home winning streak.

Stars continue to roll on road

The Stars continue to rack up the points on the road. Thursday’s win over the Kings ran their road points streak to four games (3-0-1) and gave them a 6-1-1 mark over their last eight games away from home. The Stars are also racking up goals on the road. They have scored three goals or more in eight straight road games. They have scored four goals or more in six straight road games and have scored 26 goals during that stretch (4.33 per game).
