Here’s an update on how Dallas Stars prospects playing in Europe, juniors and colleges fared over the past week.

*LW Brett Pollock (second round/2014) registered one goal and two assists in Edmonton’s 6-2 win over Kootenay Sunday, giving him 54 points (19 goals, 35 assists) in 51 games. Pollock, who has scored eight goals in his past 16 games, leads the Oil Kings in points and assists and ranks second on the team in goals.

*D Aaron Haydon (sixth round/2014) scored one goal and was a plus-four in Niagara’s 6-1 win over Sudbury on Friday. Haydon has nine points (two goals, seven assists) and a plus-14 rating in 45 games.

*D Chris Martenet (fourth round/2015) recorded one goal, one assist, a fight and a plus-three rating in London’s 8-3 loss to Windsor on Saturday. Martenet has ten points (two goals, eight assists) and a plus-34 rating in 47 games. He ranks third in the OHL in plus/minus rating.

*D Patrick Sanvido (seventh round/2014) had no points in three games over the past week. Sanvido was a minus-one in Windsor’s 5-0 loss to Sarnia on Sunday, snapping a streak of 25 consecutive games in which he had been an even or plus player. Sanvido has seven points (one goal, six assists) and a plus-18 rating in 30 games this season.

*D Alex Peters (third round/2014) had no points in two games for Flint over the past week. Peters has eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 37 games.

*G Brent Moran (fourth round/2014) lost both his starts for Flint over the past week. Moran has yet to win a game since being acquired by Flint in early December, posting an 0-13-2 mark. Flint has lost 15 straight games and hasn’t won since Dec. 18.

*LW Roope Hintz (second round/2015) returned from injury and registered two assists in four games for HIFK in Finland’s top league. Hintz played a season-high 20:26 and registered six shots on goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to HPK on Saturday. Hintz has nine points (one goal, eight assists) in 20 games.

*D Troy Vance (fifth round/2011) found the back of the net for the first time this season, scoring two goals – including the game-winner in overtime – as Assat defeated TPS, 3-2, in Finland’s top league on Wednesday. Vance has 14 points (two goals, 12 assists) in 44 games.

*D Aleksi Makela (seventh round/2013) did not register any points in four games with Ilves in Finland’s top league. Makela has one assist in 28 games.

*G Markus Ruusu (sixth round/2015) went 1-1-0 in Finland’s second highest league over the past week, stopping 62 of 67 shots. He stopped 27 of 30 shots and then was 3-3 in the shootout in JYP-Akatemia’s 4-3 win over LeKi on Friday. Ruusu has a 3.04 goals-against average and .902 save percentage with JYP-Akatemia.

*G Henri Kiviaho (fifth round/2012) played one game in Finland’s second highest league, stopping 31 of 34 shots in LeKi’s 3-2 loss to Jokipojat. Kiviaho has a 3.11 goals-against average and .889 save percentage with LeKi.

*D Miro Karjalainen (fifth round/2014) played one game in Finnish juniors, registering no points. Karjalainen has seven points (one goal, six assists) in 17 games.

*RW Denis Gurianov (first round/2015) did not factor in the scoring in three games for Lada Togliatti in the KHL over the past week. Gurianov has five points in (four goals, one assist) in 44 games. On Monday, he was assigned to the MHL (Russian juniors).

*D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) did not record any points in three games for HV 71 in the SHL over the past week. Hansson has 18 points (five goals, 13 assists) in 31 games.

*D John Nyberg (sixth round/2014) played three games for Frolunda in the Swedish Hockey League, registering no points. Nyberg has no points in five games since joining Frolunda.

*D Michael Prapavessis (fourth round/2014) had no points in two games for RPI over the past week. Prapavessis has 12 points (two goals, ten assists) in 28 games.

*D Joseph Cecconi (fifth round/2015) did not score in two games with Michigan over the past week. Cecconi has five assists and a plus-14 rating in 23 games. Cecconi has been an even or plus player in 22 of 23 games.
