Here’s an update on how Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, the NCAA and Europe fared over the past week.

*D Chris Martenet (fourth round/2015) scored his first goal of the season, tallying in London’s 4-2 loss to Peterborough on Friday. Martenet took a pass from forward Mitch Marner and scored off a slap shot from the left circle to give London a 1-0 lead in the game. Martenet has eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 45 games. He ranks fourth in the OHL with a plus-32 rating.

*D Patrick Sanvido (seventh round/2014) registered one assist and a plus-two rating in three games over the past week for Windsor. Sanvido has seven points (one goal, six assists) and a plus-19 rating in 27 games.

*D Aaron Haydon (sixth round/2014) recorded one assist in three games for Niagara, giving him eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 42 games.

*D Alex Peters (third round/2014) had no points in three games for Flint. Peters has eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 35 games.

*G Brent Moran (fourth round/2014) lost both his decisions over the past week. He also stopped 21 of 21 shots in a relief appearance and did not get a decision for Flint, which has lost 13 straight games. Moran is 0-11-2 with Flint since being acquired from Niagara earlier in the season.


*LW Brett Pollock (second round/2014) recorded three points (one goal, two assists) in three games for Edmonton over the past week. Pollock leads the Oil Kings in scoring with 50 points (18 goals, 32 assists) in 49 games.


*D Michael Prapavessis (fourth round/2014) scored his second goal of the season as RPI defeated Union, 5-2, on Saturday. Prapavessis gave RPI a 2-1 lead in the game when he skated from the right point into the slot and fired the puck into the net. Prapavessis has 12 points (two goals, ten assists) in 26 games.

*D Joseph Cecconi (fifth round/2015) and the University of Michigan did not play any regular season games over the past week. Michigan did play an exhibition game, defeating the U.S. Under-18 team, 5-2. Cecconi did not factor in the scoring. He has five points and a plus-13 rating in 21 games.


*RW Denis Gurianov (first round/2015) did not score in two games for Lada Togliatti in the KHL. Gurianov has five points (four goals, one assist) in 41 games. Gurianov is averaging 10:05 of ice time this season while playing primarily in the bottom six group of forwards.

*D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) picked up one assist in two games for HV 71 in the Swedish Hockey League. Hansson has 18 points (five goals, 13 assists) in 28 games and ranks tenth among league defensemen in scoring.

*D John Nyberg (sixth round/2014) has spent his season on loan to Oskarshamn in Sweden’s second highest league, but joined Frolunda in the SHL this past week and played two games. He had no points.

*LW Roope Hintz (second round/2015) did not play this past week with HIFK in Finland’s top league due to injury.

*D Aleksi Makela (seventh round/2013) played three games, including two with Ilves in Finland’s top league. He had no points and has one assist in 24 games with Ilves.

*D Troy Vance (fifth round/2011) did not register any points in two games with Assat in Finland’s top league. Vance has eleven assists in 40 games.

*G Markus Ruusu (sixth round/2015) played one game, stopping 26 of 29 shots in JYP-Akatemia’s 3-1 loss to SaPKo last week. Ruusu has a 3.14 goals-against average and .898 save percentage in Finland’s second highest league.

*G Henri Kiviaho (fifth round/2012) played one game, stopping 15 of 16 shots in a relief effort for Ilves in Finland’s top league. Kiviaho has a 2.28 goals-against average and .915 save percentage in eight appearances with Ilves.

*D Miro Karjalainen (fifth round/2014) did not play over the past week.
