Forward Remi Elie had a six-point week as the Erie Otters got off to a strong start in their second-round playoff series in the Ontario Hockey League. Here’s an update on how Dallas Stars prospects who are still playing in juniors and the European leagues fared over the past week.

Ontario Hockey League

*LW Remi Elie (second round/2013) registered six assists in three games as Erie grabbed a 3-0 lead in its second-round series against London. In Erie’s 7-4 win in Game 2, Elie had the primary assist on three of highly touted prospect Connor McDavid’s five goals in the game. Elie is tied for seventh in OHL playoff scoring with eleven points (two goals, nine assists) in eight games.

*C Jason Dickinson (first round/2013) scored one goal in three games as Guelph lost the first three games of its second-round playoff series to Ste. Sault Marie. Guelph has been outscored 22-8 in the series, which continues Tuesday. Dickinson has six points (four goals, two assists) in eight playoff games.

*D Aaron Haydon (sixth round/2014) picked up one assist as Niagara lost the first two games of its second-round playoff series to Oshawa. Haydon has registered one assist in eight playoff games.

*G Brent Moran (fourth round/2014) got relief work in Niagara’s game one loss to Oshawa, stopping seven of seven shots over the final ten minutes of the game. Moran has played 40 minutes in the playoffs, allowing five goals on 17 shots.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

*G Philippe Desrosiers (second round/2013) stopped 56 of 59 shots as Rimouski split the first two games of its second-round playoff series against Gatineau. Desrosiers stopped 28 of 30 shots in a 2-1 loss in Game 1 and then turned away 28 of 29 shots in a 3-1 victory in Game 2. Desrosiers is 3-1 in the playoffs with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage.

Europe

*C Mattias Janmark (trade/2015) did not register any points as Frolunda lost to Vaxjo 4-1 in Game 6 and was eliminated in the semifinals of the Swedish Hockey League playoffs. Janmark led Frolunda in playoff scoring with seven points (four goals, three assists) in 13 games. Janmark is expected to play for the Swedish national team Euro Hockey Tour games in Czech Republic later this week

United States Hockey League

*RW Matej Paulovic (fifth round/2013) registered one goal and two assists in his final regular season game for Muskegon. Paulovic has 50 points (17 goals, 33 assists) in 51 games. Muskegon plays Youngstown in the first round of the USHL playoffs.

*D Mattias Backman (trade/2015) – Swedish Hockey League.

*D Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) – Swedish Hockey League. Now playing with Texas Stars (AHL).

D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) - Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan.

*D Miro Karjalainen (fifth round/2014) – Finland juniors.

*D Esa Lindell (third round/2012) – Finnish Elite League. Played with Texas Stars (AHL), now with Finland’s national team.

*D Aleksi Makela (seventh round/2013) – Finnish Elite League.

*LW Emil Molin (fourth round/2011) – Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan.

*D John Nyberg (sixth round/2014) – Swedish juniors.

*D Alex Peters (third round/2014) – Plymouth (OHL).

*LW Brett Pollock (second round/2014) – Edmonton (WHL). Currently spending time with Texas Stars (AHL), but not expected to play.

*D Michael Prapavessis (fourth round/2014) – RPI/NCAA.

*D Patrick Sanvido (seventh round/2014) – Windsor (OHL).

*C Devin Shore (second round/2012) – University of Maine/NCAA. Now playing with Texas Stars (AHL).

*D Dmitry Sinitsyn (seventh round/2012) – Russia/KHL.

*LW Cole Ully (fifth round/2013) – Kamloops (WHL). Currently spending time with Texas Stars (AHL), but not expected to play.
