Stars prospect Jason Dickinson continues to put up the points in the Ontario Hockey League. Dickinson, Dallas’ first round pick (29th overall) in 2013, tallied eight points (three goals, five assists) in three games over the past week.

Five of those points came in one game. Dickinson scored three goals and assisted on two others in Guelph’s 9-4 win over Peterborough on Thursday. Two of his goals were shorthanded tallies on the same penalty kill. One of his assists came on a shorthanded goal on another penalty kill.

After getting off to a slow start this season, Dickinson has been on a roll lately. He’s tallied points in 16 of his past 17 games, registering 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) during that stretch. He’s registered 40 points (17 goals, 23 assists) over his past 25 games.

For the season, Dickinson has 54 points (21 goals, 33 assists) in 42 games, ranking second on the Storm in scoring.

Here’s an update on how other Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, the European leagues and U.S. colleges fared over the past week.

Ontario Hockey League

*LW Remi Elie (second round/2013) scored one goal in two games for Erie over the past week. Elie has 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 12 games since being acquired by Erie in January. He has 51 points (22 goals, 29 assists) in 47 OHL games for the season.

*D Aaron Haydon (sixth round/2014) had one goal and two assists in three games for Niagara. He registered a Gordie Howe Hat Trick – a goal, assist and fight – in a 4-1 win over London Friday. Haydon has 22 points (eight goals, 14 assists) in 48 games.

*G Brent Moran (fourth round/2014) went 3-0-0 last week, winning two starts and one relief appearance. He stopped 73 of 77 shots in the three games. Moran is 13-16-1 this season with a 3.40 goals-against average and .895 save percentage. Moran is 9-1-1 in his last 11 decisions.

*D Patrick Sanvido (seventh round/2014) remains out with a shoulder injury. He is getting close to a return.

*D Alex Peters (third round/2014) is out with a knee injury.

Western Hockey League

*LW Cole Ully (fifth round/2013) registered three points (two goals, one assist) in three games for Kamloops. Ully scored both goals for the Blazers in a 3-2 loss to Red Deer on Wednesday. Ully ranks seventh in the WHL in scoring with 68 points (27 goals, 41 assists) in 52 games.

*LW Brett Pollock (second round/2014) picked up one goal and one assist in three games for Edmonton. Both his points came in a 4-3 loss to Lethbridge on Tuesday. Pollock leads the Oil Kings in scoring with 48 points (25 goals, 23 assists) in 53 games.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

*G Philippe Desrosiers (second round/2013) went 1-0-1 last week for Rimouski, including a 32-save effort in a 6-2 win over Saint John. Desrosiers is 20-7-3 with a 2.66 goals-against average and .896 save percentage. He ranks second in the QMJHL in GAA.

United States Hockey League

*RW Matej Paulovic (fifth round/2013) had no points in one game for Muskegon. Paulovic has 30 points in 33 games.


*D John Nyberg (sixth round/2014) played four games for Sweden at the U-19 5-Nations tournament. He had no points and a plus-four rating for the Swedes, who finished first at the tournament. It was Nyberg’s first time playing for Sweden internationally.

*D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) had no points in one game for Rogle in Sweden’s second highest league. Hansson has 20 points (two goals, 18 assists) in 42 games.

*LW Emil Molin (fourth round/2011) had no points in one game for Rogle last week. Molin has seven assists in 44 games.

*D Esa Lindell (third round/2012), D Aleksi Makela (seventh round/2013) and D Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) did not play last week as the top leagues in Finland and Sweden had a break in the schedule. Play resumes this week.

*D Miro Karjalainen (fifth round/2014) is out with a knee injury.

*D Dmitry Sinitsyn (seventh round/2012) did not play last week in Russia.

U.S. College

*C Devin Shore (second round/2012) tallied one goal and one assist in two games as the University of Maine went 0-1-1 in a weekend set against Notre Dame. Shore has registered 19 points (six goals, 13 assists) in his past 14 games and has 26 points (ten goals, 16 assists) in 30 games this season.

*D Michael Prapavessis (fourth round/2014) did not score in two games for RPI over the weekend. Prapavessis has four assists in 30 games.
