Stars prospect Jason Dickinson is on a nice roll in the Ontario Hockey League. Dickinson registered one goal and three assists in three games for the Guelph Storm over the past week, extending his points streak to 12 games. Dickinson, Dallas’ first-round pick (29th overall) in 2013, has 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) during the streak. He has 23 points (nine goals, 14 assists) over his last 17 games. Dickinson ranks second on the Storm in scoring with 42 points (16 goals, 26 assists) in 37 games.

Forward Devin Shore is on a good run with the University of Maine. Shore picked up five points in two games over the weekend, including a four-point effort (two goals, two assists) in a 6-4 victory over New Hampshire Friday. Shore, a second-round pick (61st overall) in 2012, has notched 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) and a plus-eight rating in his last ten games. Shore, a junior, leads Maine in scoring with 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists) in 26 games.

Here’s an update on how other Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, the European leagues and U.S. colleges fared over the past week.

Ontario Hockey League

*LW Remi Elie (second round/2013) registered two assists in two games for Erie over the past week. Elie has 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in seven games since being acquired by Erie earlier this month. He has 46 points (18 goals, 28 assists) in 42 OHL games for the season.

*D Aaron Haydon (sixth round/2014) registered one assist in two games for Niagara over the past week. Haydon has 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 45 games.

*G Brent Moran (fourth round/2014) won his only start of the past week, stopping 25 of 29 shots in a 7-4 win over Barrie. Moran has won six of his last seven decisions (6-0-1) and is now 10-15-1 on the season with a 3.48 goals against average and .894 save percentage.

*D Patrick Sanvido (seventh round/2014) did not play this past week for Windsor due to a shoulder injury. He could return within the next week.

*D Alex Peters (third round/2014) is out with a knee injury.

Western Hockey League

*LW Cole Ully (fifth round/2013) registered three points (two goals, one assist) in three games for Kamloops over the past week. Ully is tied for fifth in the WHL in scoring with 61 points (22 goals, 39 assists) in 46 games.

*LW Brett Pollock (second round/2014) registered three goals and one assist in three games for Edmonton, including two goals and one assist in a 5-3 loss to Kootenay on Thursday. Pollock leads the Oil Kings in scoring with 44 points (22 goals, 22 assists) in 47 games.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

*G Philippe Desrosiers (second round/2013) started just one game for Rimouski, getting pulled after allowing three goals on ten shots in 25 minutes. Desrosiers is 18-7-2 and ranks second in the QMJHL with a 2.67 goals against average.

United States Hockey League

*RW Matej Paulovic (fifth round/2013) had no points in three games for Muskegon over the past week. Paulovic has 28 points (nine goals, 19 assists) in 30 games.


*D Esa Lindell (third round/2012) registered one goal and one assist in three games for Assat in Finland’s top league. He also registered a shootout winner in Assat’s 5-4 win over Lukko on Friday. Lindell has 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists) in 39 games and is tied for fourth among league defensemen in scoring. He ranks second in the league in ice time at 24:58 per game.

*D Aleksi Makela (seventh round/2013) played three games for Ilves in Finland’s top league and did not register a point. Makela has six assists in 23 games. He ranks 10th among rookies in ice time at 15:17 per game.

*D Miro Karjalainen (fifth round/2014) is out with a knee injury.

*D Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) has been loaned from Farjestad of the Swedish Hockey League to Timra in Sweden’s second highest league again. The goal is to get Bystrom more playing time, and he got that last week, logging 18:31 and 24:57 in his first two games with Timra. Bystrom also registered one assist last week. Bystrom has one assist in five games with Timra. He has five points (one goal, four assists) in 26 games with Farjestad.

*D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) returned from a bout of illness but played just one game with Rogle in Sweden’s second highest league last week due to what appears to be a minor injury. He is expected to return to action this week. Hansson has 20 points (two goals, 18 assists) in 39 games.

*LW Emil Molin (fourth round/2011) had no points in two games for Rogle in Sweden’s second highest league. Molin has six assists in 41 games.

*D John Nyberg (sixth round/2014) played two games for Frolunda in Sweden’s top league, registering no points. Nyberg has no points in nine games with Frolunda this season. Nyberg has been selected to play for Sweden at the U19 Five Nations tournament next month. This will be Nyberg’s first time suiting up for Sweden in international play.

*D Dmitry Sinitsyn (seventh round/2012) did not play last week in Russia.

U.S. College

*D Michael Prapavessis (fourth round/2014) played one game for RPI over the weekend and did not register any points. Prapavessis, a freshman, has four assists in 27 games this season.
