Here’s an update on Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, the European leagues and U.S. colleges.

*LW Cole Ully has been named to the Western Hockey League’s roster for the upcoming Subway Super Series with Russia. All-Star teams from the WHL, OHL and QMJHL will play a team of junior players from Russia later this month. Stars forward prospects Jason Dickinson and Remi Elie will play for the OHL and goaltending prospect Philippe Desrosiers will play for the QMJHL. Defenseman Alex Peters was named to the OHL squad, but he is out with a knee injury. The series runs from Nov. 10-20.

Some of Dallas’ prospects in Europe are slated to represent their countries in upcoming tournaments. Defenseman Esa Lindell will play for Finland’s national team at the Karjala Tournament, which will feature teams from Finland, Sweden, Russia and Czech Republic. Defensemen Niklas Hansson (Sweden) and Aleksi Makela (Finland) will play at the 4 Nations Under-20 tournament in Czech Republic this week. Teams from Finland, Sweden, Russia and Czech Republic are taking part.

Here are some statistical notes on Dallas prospects from the past week.

U.S. College

*C Devin Shore (second round/2012) registered three points (two goals, one assist) as the University of Maine won two games against the University of Massachusetts over the weekend. Shore scored a goal and set up the game-winning goal as Maine won 6-5 in overtime on Friday. On Saturday, he scored early in the third period to cut UMass’ lead to 2-1 as Maine began a rally that would end in a 3-2 victory. Shore has five points (three goals, two assists) in eight games.

*D Michael Prapavessis (fourth round/2014) picked up one assist in two games for RPI over the weekend. A scoring change gave him an assist in a game from the previous weekend, giving Prapavessis two assists in eight games this season.

Ontario Hockey League

*D Alex Peters (third round/2014) is expected to miss the rest of the season for the Plymouth Whalers following knee surgery, according to the Plymouth Observer. Peters was injured Oct. 17 when he went hard into the boards during Plymouth’s game at Kingston.

*C Jason Dickinson (first round/2013) registered three points (one goal, two assists) in two games for Guelph of the OHL last week. Dickinson has 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 12 games this season.

*LW Remi Elie (second round/2013) tallied one goal in three games over the past week for Belleville of the OHL, giving him 19 points (ten goals, nine assists) in 15 games.

*D Aaron Haydon (sixth round/2014) registered no points in three games for Niagara last week. Haydon has four points (two goals, two assists) in 15 games.

*G Brent Moran (fourth round/2014) lost all three of his starts over the past week for Niagara. Moran is 2-11-0 with a 3.51 goals against average and .896 save percentage for the IceDogs.

*D Patrick Sanvido (seventh round/2014) did not register any points in two games for Windsor last week. Sanvido has three assists in 14 games this season.

Western Hockey League

*LW Cole Ully (fifth round/2013) did not play for Kamloops over the past week due to illness. Ully is tied for second in the WHL in scoring with 26 points (9 goals, 17 assists) in 16 games.

*LW Brett Pollock (second round/2014) scored two goals in four games for Edmonton of the WHL. Pollock has 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 16 games for the Oil Kings.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

*G Philippe Desrosiers (second round/2013) lost both his starts with Rimouski of the QMJHL over the past week. Desrosiers is 7-4-1 with a 2.84 goals against average and .887 save percentage. He ranks seventh in the league in GAA.

United States Hockey League

*RW Matej Paulovic (fifth round/2013) played two games with Muskegon of the USHL last week and did not register any points. Paulovic has six points (one goals, five assists) in 12 games.

Europe

*D Esa Lindell (third round/2012) registered three assists in three games last week, giving him nine points (three goals, six assists) in 17 games for Assat in Finland’s top league. Lindell ranks tenth in the league in defenseman scoring, and he ranks sixth among all players in average playing time at 24:21 per game.

*D Aleksi Makela (seventh round/2013) picked up one assist in one game for Ilves in Finland’s top league. Makela has four assists in seven games with Ilves.

*D Miro Karjalainen (fifth round/2014) did not play last week.

*D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) registered three assists in three games for Rogle in Sweden’s second highest league last week. Hansson has 12 points (two goals, ten assists) in 21 games this season. He continues to lead all junior players in the league in scoring and ranks fifth among all defensemen in points.

*LW Emil Molin (fourth round/2011) had no points in three games for Rogle in Sweden’s second highest league. He has four assists in 20 games.

*D John Nyberg (sixth round/2014) had no points in four games for Oskarshamn in Sweden’s second highest league over the past week. Nyberg has no points in six games since being loaned to Oskarshamn last month.

*D Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) registered no points in one game for Farjestad in Sweden’s top league over the past week. Bystrom has one point in nine games.

*D Dmitry Sinitsyn (seventh round/2012) picked up one assist in two games for Dynamo Balashikha in Russia’s second highest league (VHL). Sinitsyn has eight points (two goals, six assists) in 19 games.
