Here’s an update on Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, college and Europe.

*LW Cole Ully (fifth round/2013) registered eight points (five goals, three assists) in four games for Kamloops of the Western Hockey League over the past week. Ully, who has 11 points (six goals, five assists over his last seven games, leads the Blazers in goals (24), assists (31) and points (55) in 50 games played.

*C/LW Gemel Smith (fourth round/2012) registered five points (one goal, four assists) in three games over the past week with London of the Ontario Hockey League. Smith has points in six straight games, recording ten points (three goals, seven assists) during that stretch. Smith has 59 points (29 goals, 30 assists) in 51 games for both London and Owen Sound this season.

*LW Remi Elie (second round/2013) scored two goals in four games for Belleville of the OHL. Elie leads Belleville in scoring with 42 points (19 goals, 23 assists) in 41 games played.

*RW Cody Payne (trade acquisition/2013) scored two goals in three games for Saginaw of the OHL. Payne leads Saginaw with 20 goals in 40 games this season.

*C Radek Faksa (first round/2012) picked up one assist in three games for Sudbury of the OHL. Faksa has eight points (three goals, five assists) in 12 games since being acquired by Sudbury last month.

*LW Nick Paul (fourth round/2013) recorded two assists in three games for North Bay of the OHL over the last week. Paul ranks second on North Bay in scoring with 35 points (20 goals, 15 assists) in 51 games.

*C/LW Jason Dickinson (first round/2013) had no points in two games for Guelph of the OHL. Dickinson has 52 points (17 goals, 35 assists) in 50 games.

*D Dmitry Sinitsyn (seventh round/2012) had two assists in two games for Regina of the WHL. Sinitsyn has 26 points (three goals, 23 assists) in 51 games. Sinitsyn ranks fifth among WHL rookie defensemen in scoring.

*C Mike Winther (second round/2012) had two assists in three games for Calgary of the WHL. Winther has 21 points (5 goals, 16 assists) in 26 games with both Calgary and Prince Albert this season.

*RW Branden Troock (fifth round/2012) returned to action for Seattle of the WHL after missing more than a month with an upper body injury. He played one game over the weekend, registering no points.

*D Troy Vance (fifth round/2011) scored his fourth goal of the season for Charlottetown of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last week. Vance has 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 43 games this season.

*G Philippe Desrosiers (second round/2013) made one start last week for Rimouski of the QMJHL, stopping 23 of 27 shots in a 5-2 loss to Blainville-Boisbriand. Desrosiers ranks ninth in the high-scoring QMJHL with a 3.11 goals against average.

*G Maxime Lagace (free agent/2012) did not play for Sherbrooke of the QMJHL last week due to an injury issue.

*LW Alex Guptill (third round/2010) scored the game-winning goal in the University of Michigan’s 3-1 victory over Wisconsin on Friday. Guptill has 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) in 21 games.

*C/LW Devin Shore (second round/2012) did not play over the past week as the University of Maine was idle. Shore has 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) in 24 games. Shore ranks 13th in the nation in scoring at 1.29 points per game.

*LW Matej Paulovic (fifth round/2013) had no points in two games for Muskegon of the United States Hockey League. Paulovic has five points (two goals, three assists) since joining Muskegon last month.

*D John Klingberg (fifth round/2010) recorded one assists in three games for Frolunda of the Swedish Hockey League. Klingberg, who has 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) in 42 games, is tied for eighth in scoring among SHL defensemen.

*D Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) registered one assist in three games for Farjestad of the SHL over the past week. Bystrom has 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in 43 games and is top scoring junior defenseman playing in the SHL.

*LW Emil Molin (fourth round/2011) picked up one assist in three games for Rogle in Sweden’s HockeyAllsvenskan. Molin has seven points (one goal, six assists) in 15 games since joining Rogle earlier this season.

*D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) had no points in three games for Rogle over the past week. Hansson ranks third in scoring among junior defenseman playing in the HockeyAllsvenskan, Sweden’s second highest league, with 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in 37 games.

*D Esa Lindell (third round/2012) picked up one assist in one game for Jokerit in Finland’s top league last week. Lindell has four points (one goal, three assists) in 31 games and his plus-seven rating is tied for fifth on the team.

*D Aleksi Makela (seventh round/2013) played his first game of the season in Finland’s top league, registering no points in Ilves 3-2 win over TPS.

*G Henri Kiviaho (fifth round/2012) got one start in Finland’s top league, stopping 20 of 24 shots in KalPa’s 4-1 loss to Karpat. Kiviaho is 1-4-0 with a 3.68 goals against average and .866 save percentage in the top league this season.
