Here are some notes on Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, Europe and college.

*C Devin Shore (second round/2012) registered 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) as the University of Maine defeated American International, 7-1, on Friday. Shore, who picked up an assist in Maine’s 5-1 victory over American International on Saturday to run his points streak to seven games, now has 19 points (7 goals, 12 assists) in 16 games, and ranks 8th among scorers in Hockey East.

*LW Alex Guptill (third round/2010) ran his points streak to six games, tallying a goal as the University of Michigan and Ferris State tied 2-2 on Wednesday. Guptill has 12 points (6 goals, 6 assists) in 13 games this season.

*LW Cole Ully (fifth round/2013) picked up 8 points (3 goals, 5 assists) in 5 games played last week for Kamloops of the Western Hockey League. Ully leads the Blazers in scoring with 37 points (14 goals, 23 assists) in 33 games.

*RW Branden Troock (fifth round/2012) continues to rack up the points for Seattle of the WHL. Troock had 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists) in 3 games last week, and now has 15 points (7 goals, 8 assists) over his last seven games. Since Nov. 1, Troock has registered 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists) in 18 games.

*D Dmitry Sinitsyn (seventh round/2012) notched 3 assists in 4 games for Regina of the WHL. Sinitsyn has 18 points (2 goals, 16 assists) in 33 games.

*C Radek Faksa (first round/2012) scored 2 goals in his only game played for Kitchener of the Ontario Hockey League last week. Faksa has headed overseas to join up with the Czech team for the World Junior Championship, which gets underway later this month.

*LW/C Jason Dickinson (first round/2013) registered 1 goal and 1 assist in 3 games for Guelph of the OHL last week. Dickinson has 37 points (13 goals, 24 assists) in 33 games.

*LW Remi Elie (second round/2013) had 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) in 2 games. Elie has 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists) in 26 games with Belleville of the OHL.

*C Gemel Smith (fourth round/2012) picked up 2 assists in 3 games for Owen Sound of the OHL. Smith has 38 points (23 goals, 15 assists) in 34 games. His 23 goals are tied for sixth in the OHL.

*RW Cody Payne (trade acquisition/2013) scored 1 goal in 2 games last week for Saginaw of the OHL, giving him 15 goals in 30 games this season.

*RW Matej Paulovic (fifth round/2013), who was released from Peterborough of the Ontario Hockey League earlier this month, has joined the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League.

*G Philippe Desrosiers (second round/2013) won both his starts with Rimouski of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last week, stopping 42 of 47 shots. Desrosiers is 10-10-6 with a 3.22 goals against average and .883 save percentage in the high scoring QMJHL.

*D Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) picked up 2 assists in 3 games for Farjestad of the Swedish Hockey League last week. Bystrom has 9 points (2 goals, 7 assists) in 31 games. His plus-12 rating is tied for sixth in the SHL.

*D John Klingberg (fifth round/2010) had no points last week for Frolunda of the SHL. Klingberg has 13 points (5 goals, 8 assists) in 28 games. He is averaging 22:04 of ice time per game, ranking tops on his team and 11th in the SHL.

*D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) scored his first goal at the professional level, tallying on the power play in Rogle’s 3-2 victory over Troja/Ljungby in Sweden’s HockeyAllsvenskan on Friday. Hansson has 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) in 26 games for Rogle.

*LW Emil Molin (fourth round/2011) picked up 1 assists in 2 games for Rogle, giving him 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) in 4 games since he joined the club earlier this month.

Injury notes

*C Mike Winther (second round/2012) is expected to miss 2-4 weeks for Prince Albert of the WHL with an upper body injury.

*G Maxime Lagace of Shawinigan of the QMJHL remains out with a lower body injury.
