Forward prospect Roope Hintz continues to roll in Finland's top league. The second-round pick (49th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft notched a hat trick in HIFK's 6-0 win over Assat on Saturday, giving Hintz ten goals in his past 12 games.
The 20-year-old forward has registered 30 points (19 goals, 11 assists) in 44 games and ranks seventh in the league in goal scoring despite missing the first eleven games of the season due to a back injury. Hintz is tied for the HIFK team lead in goals and ranks second in points.
