Stars forward prospect Roope Hintz continues to pick up points at a steady clip in Finland's top league. Hintz registered one goal and one assist in three games over the past week, including a goal in a 4-1 win over SaiPa.
Hintz, a second-round pick (49th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft, has seven points (four goals, three assists) in his past eight games and has tallied six goals over his past 13 games. For the season, Hintz has registered 23 points (13 goals, ten assists) in 40 games.
Despite missing the first eleven games of the season due to injury, the 20-year-old Hintz is tied for 24th in the league in goal scoring.
