Stars forward prospect Fredrik Karlstrom continues to put up good numbers in the HockeyAllsvenskan, the second highest league in Swedish hockey.

The 18-year-old center, a third-round pick (90th overall) in the 2016 NHL Draft, has 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) in 14 games with AIK, and is tied for the team lead in scoring. He ranks third in the league in points among junior players.

This past week, Karlstrom had one goal and one assist in two games. He scored the first goal of the game in AIK's 4-1 win over Vasterviks on Friday, tallying on a breakaway late in the first period.

"Like his upside and his skill. He's a real high-end skill guy," Stars scout Rickard Oquist said this summer at the NHL Draft. "He's very smart, competes. Many times you find him one step ahead in the game. Really excited over him."
