Dallas Stars forward prospect Nick Caamano has picked up the scoring pace again, registering four points (two goals, two assists) in two games the past week for Flint of the Ontario Hockey League.
Caamano, a fifth-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, had two assists in a 3-2 win over Kitchener on Friday and two goals in a 5-3 loss to Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday.
After going scoreless in four games from Oct. 22-28, Caamano has tallied points in his past three games (three goals, three assists). He is tied for ninth in the OHL in scoring with 24 points (9 goals, 15 assists) in 18 games. He leads the Firebirds in assists and power play goals (3).

Western Hockey League
D Ondrej Vala (free agent/2016) scored his fourth goal of the season in Kamloops' 5-2 win over Medicine Hat on Friday. Vala has 9 points (4 goals, 5 assists) and a plus-9 rating in 20 games. He ranks second in defenseman scoring on the team and is second among all Kamloops players in plus/minus rating.

Ontario Hockey League
\D Chris Martenet (4th round/2015) was suspended three games for a cross-checking major he received in a game against Sarnia on Oct. 29. Martenet is eligible to return later this week.

Europe
It was a quiet week in Europe with several of the leagues, including the top leagues in Sweden and Finland, on a break.
\C Fredrik Karlstrom(3rd round/2016) played for Sweden at the U20 4 Nations Tournament in Gothenburg, Sweden. Karlstrom played in all three games, registering one assist for the Swedes who finished first at the tournament. The 18-year-old Karlstrom has 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) in 14 games with AIK in Sweden's second highest league this season.
