Dallas Stars forward prospects Jason Dickinson (first round/2013) and Remi Elie (second round/2013) are among the 17 forwards invited to Canada’s selection camp for the 2015 World Junior Championship.
The camp will be held Dec. 11-15 as Canada finalizes its roster for the World Juniors, which will be held Dec. 26 – Jan. 5 in Toronto and Montreal.
Dickinson and Elie will be vying for what are expected to be 13 forward spots on Canada’s 22-man roster for the tournament.
Stars goaltending prospect Philippe Desrosiers was considered a strong candidate for an invitation to the camp, but Hockey Canada invited only two goaltenders – Montreal prospect Zachary Fucale and Winnipeg prospect Eric Comrie – and those two are expected to be Canada’s goaltenders for the World Juniors.
