Multigame plans for the 2012-13 Season on Sale

by Dallas Stars Staff / Dallas Stars

Fans spoke and the Dallas Stars listened. Since Tom Gaglardi came on board as the owner of the team last November, the Stars have taken an introspective look at what the fans want from the hockey club. Last season, the first response was to lower ticket prices throughout American Airlines Center. This upcoming season, Stars fans will find the best professional sports ticket package in North Texas. The new partial plans bring value to fans with a combination of benefits: flexibility, cost savings, premiere seat positions and access to exclusive benefits, such as the online account manager, same-seat placement for every game, exchange options and pre-sale Stanley Cup Playoff tickets.

Many fans were surprised when they answered the phone from their Dallas Stars account manager only to be greeted by a familiar voice, 22-year veteran Stars Play-By-Play Announcer, Ralph Strangis. Ralph dedicated several days a week during the summer talking with fans about their experience with the team, encouraging them to buy season ticket packages and suite renewals. He also talked about the team’s young core of exciting players. Not many could resist. Dallas Stars season ticket renewals are trending 90%.

Fans can now purchase their choice of a half season plan with two different schedule options that are evenly distributed throughout the season with traditional rivalries and sought after holiday games like Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve, complete with fireworks in AT&T Plaza. The 12-game packages offer three different options to meet the needs of families with weekend games, hardcore hockey fans that want to see the best players and teams in the NHL, and a variety plan that mixes weekday and weekend contests. The six-game package features popular opponents like the defending Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, the Washington Capitals, Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins.
