If the series goes to a Game Seven, it will be played on Tuesday, April 22 in Anaheim (time TBD).
The Stars hosted the Sharks in the regular season finale on Sunday, winning by a score of 4-2
. Dallas finishes the regular season with a record of 45-30-7, the team’s 10th 40-win season since 1996-97. American Airlines Center was already sporting Stars super graphics of Mike Modano and Brenden Morrow
on the west side of the building while Stanley Cup Playoff pole banners surrounded the arena with the 2008 post-season theme Believe.
“We’re excited about starting the playoffs,” said Morrow. “It’s what we play for and we know our fans will be behind us to give us a real home-ice advantage for games in Dallas. We’re looking forward to it.”
