The Texas Stars went 1-2-0 on a three-game road trip over the past week and are now 11-8-2 on the season, ranking sixth in the AHL's Pacific Division. Jason Dickinson and Denis Gurianov have both been putting up good numbers for Texas recently. Dickinson has eight points in his past eight games and Gurianov has tallied 11 points in his past 13 games. And the Stars won't be traveling much over the next month. Their next 11 games are all within the state of Texas - nine in Cedar Park and two in San Antonio. Here's the latest on the AHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars.
Wednesday, November 30: Chicago 4, Texas 3
Chicago's Kenny Agostino scored on the power play with 5:03 remaining in the third period to lift the Wolves to a 4-3 win over the Stars in Chicago on Wednesday. Jason Dickinson scored 32 seconds into the game to put Texas up 1-0, but Chicago scored the next three goals to take a 3-1 lead. Matej Stransky and Denis Gurianov scored as Texas rallied to tie before the Agostino game-winner. Max Lagace stopped 20 of 24 shots.
Saturday, December 3: Texas 6, Manitoba 1
Jason Dickinson recorded a goal, an assist and a fight for the Gordie Howe hat trick as the Texas Stars won, 6-1, at Manitoba Saturday afternoon. Denis Gurianov, Mike McMurtry and Matt Mangene each tallied one goal and one assist in the game and Brandon DeFazio and Austin Fyten also scored goals. The Stars blew the game open with a four-goal second period to extend their lead to 5-0. Max Lagace stopped 26 of 27 shots, losing his bid for a shutout in the final minute of the game.
Sunday, December 4: Manitoba 5, Texas 4
The Stars rallied from 3-1 and 4-3 deficits to tie the game, but Manitoba's Dan DeSalvo scored on the power play with 1:23 remaining to lift the Moose to a 5-4 victory over Texas in Winnipeg Sunday afternoon. Travis Morin scored two goals and Matej Stransky, and Dustin Stevenson also scored. Denis Gurianov picked up an assist to extend his points streak to three games (two goals, two assists). Max Lagace stopped 26 of 31 shots.

Idaho Steelheads
The Idaho Steelheads went 2-1-0 last week and are 13-6-2 on the season. The Steelheads are in first place in the ECHL's Mountain Division.
Goaltender Philippe Desrosiers, assigned to Idaho from Texas last week, made two starts. He stopped 43 of 47 shots in a 5-3 loss to Alaska on Wednesday and then 33 of 34 shots in a 2-1 win over Alaska on Friday.
