Stars (13-7-2, 28 points) vs. Golden Knights (14-10-0, 28 points)

LAS VEGAS -- With wins in seven in a row and nine in their past 10, the Stars open a three-game road trip Wednesday against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Stars are one of the hottest teams in the NHL, and their stretch of victories has boosted their record this season to 13-7-2 (28 points). Wednesday's contest opens a stretch of three games in four days for the Stars, who play the LA Kings on Thursday at Staples Center and the San Jose Sharks on Saturday at SAP Center.

A win on Wednesday would set the franchise record for consecutive victories, but the task will be challenging. The Golden Knights have won two in a row and six of their past 10 (6-4-0) and aren't as injury depleted as they were earlier in the season. Vegas has an 8-5-0 record at home, including a 3-2 victory over the Pacific Division-leading Calgary Flames on Sunday.
Veteran forward Chandler Stephenson leads the Golden Knights with 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) in 24 games this season, while goaltender Robin Lehner has gone 10-9-0 with a 3.02 goals-against average and .910 save percentage in 19 appearances.
The Stars fell 3-2 in overtime at home against Vegas in the opening game between the two clubs this season and have a 2-5-2 record all time against the Golden Knights. Nevertheless, Dallas is riding a three-game point streak against Vegas and has a 1-2-0 mark at T-Mobile Arena.
Alexander Radulov, who scored in the series opener on Oct. 27, is riding a three-game point streak (three goals, two assists) vs. Vegas and has six points (three goals, three assists) in four of his past five against them. Radulov is tied for first among all current Stars in goals and paces the club in points in nine career games vs. Vegas.
