FRISCO, Texas-- Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has traded forward Fredrik Olofsson's rights to Colorado for future considerations.

Olofsson, 27, recorded four points (1-3--4) in 28 regular-season contests with Dallas during the 2022-23 campaign. He made his NHL debut on Dec. 27, 2022 at Nashville and tallied his first career NHL goal (1-0--1) on Dec. 31, 2022 vs. San Jose, which also marked his first career game-winning goal.

He also made his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final vs. Vegas on May 25 and went scoreless with a +1 rating in two postseason appearances (also Game 5 at VGK).

In his first full AHL season in 2022-23, Olofsson posted 14 points (5-9--14) and a +11 rating in 37 regular-season contests with the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound forward from Helsingborg, Sweden was originally selected by Chicago in the fourth round (98th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.
