Dallas Stars to Pick 14th in NHL Entry Draft

The Dallas Stars have the 14th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, determined Tuesday evening in the National Hockey League Draft Drawing. The New Jersey Devils won the Drawing, moving them up to the number four overall pick in this year’s draft.

The Stars had a 0.5% chance of winning yesterday’s Drawing, with the opportunity to move up a maximum of four spots to the 10th overall pick.

Dallas Stars hockey personnel are focused on the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, slated for June 24-25 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN. The first round will take place on the evening of June 24 and be televised on VERSUS. Rounds two through seven will take place on Saturday, June 25.

The Stars picked Jack Campbell with the 11th overall selection in last year’s draft.
