FRISCO, Texas --Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nillannounced Friday that the club has signed centerDevin Shoreto a two-year contract that has an annual average value of $2.3-million per year.

Shore, 23, registered 32 points (11-21=32) in 82 regular-season games and finished tied for fifth on Dallas with a career-high 21 assists. He skated in all 82 regular-season games for the second time in his career and was one of five Stars players to appear in all 82 contests. Additionally, Shore ranked seventh on the club in goals (11) and points (32), while also ranking fifth among team forwards with a career-high 15:26 average time on ice per game. The forward finished tied for third among Stars forwards and eighth among all club skaters with 57 blocked shots.

During the 2016-17 campaign, the forward recorded 33 points (13-20=33) in 82 regular-season contests during his first full NHL campaign. Shore shared sixth on the club in points (33) and was one of two Stars players to appear in all 82 games along with forward Tyler Seguin. He finished tied for sixth on the team in goals (13), while he ranked sixth (20) in assists. Among NHL rookies, he ranked 14th in assists (20), was tied for 14th in points (33) and shared 16th in goals (13). Over three NHL seasons, all with Dallas, he has amassed 65 points (24-41=65) in 167 regular-season contests. He made his NHL debut on Nov. 3, 2015 against the Boston Bruins.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound native of Ajax, Ontario was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (61st overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
