Stars select Maxim Mayorov with 147th overall pick in 2022 NHL Draft

The 6-foot-6, 196-pound goalie posted a 14-10-2 record, 2.16 goals-against average and .931 save percentage in 32 appearances with Togliatti in the 2021-22 season

MONTREAL --With the 147th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, the Stars selected Maxim Mayorov from Ladia Togliatti of the MHL.

Mayorov, 18, fashioned a 14-10-2 record, 2.16 goals-against average and .931 save percentage in 32 appearances with Togliatti in the 2021-22 season.
The 6-foot-6, 196-pound netminder also played for Togliatti's U18 and U16 teams from 2019-22.
Mayorov becomes the first goalie chosen by the Stars since Remi Poirier in the sixth round (185th overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft.
