Stars select Matthew Seminoff with 179th overall pick in 2022 NHL Draft

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound right wing scored a career-high 26 goals with the Blazers last season and finished fifth on the team with 57 points in 64 games

MONTREAL --With the 179th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, the Stars selected Matthew Seminoff from Kamloops of the Western Hockey League (WHL).

Seminoff, 18, scored a career-high 26 goals with the Blazers last season and finished fifth on the team with 57 points in 64 games. He added nine points (six goals, three points) in 17 playoff games.
The Leesburg, Virginia native has recorded 88 points (42 goals, 46 assists) and a +25 rating in 134 career regular-season games with the Blazers from 2019-22.
