by Dallas Stars Staff / Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars announced today that goaltender Jack Campbell has been recalled under emergency conditions from the Texas Stars, Dallas’ development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). Goaltender Kari Lehtonen suffered a lower body injury in Friday’s game against Winnipeg and is currently listed as day-to-day.

Campbell, 21, has played one game for Texas this season, stopping 18-of-19 shots en route to his first win of the season. The Port Huron, Michigan native is entering his second full professional season. During the 2012-13 campaign, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound goaltender earned a 19-13-3 record with a 2.65 goals against average (GAA) and a .905 save percentage (SV%) in 40 games for Texas. Campbell was Dallas’ first-round selection (11th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft.

Dallas will faceoff tonight against the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center at 7:00 p.m. (TV: TXA-21; Radio: 1310 The Ticket).
