Dallas Stars Reassign Center Travis Morin To Texas Stars

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned center Travis Morin to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Morin, 31, has posted 10 shots and a +1 plus/minus rating in six games for Dallas this season. He is currently tied for tenth in the AHL and leads Texas with 40 points (15-25=40) in 39 games this season.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Brooklyn Park, Minn. was originally selected by Washington in the ninth round (263rd overall) of the 2004 NHL Draft, and was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 2, 2010.
