Stars forward prospect Riley Tufte had a productive weekend for the University of Minnesota Duluth, recording four points (two goals, two assists) as the No. 9 Bulldogs took two games from No. 17 Western Michigan.
Tufte scored one goal on Friday as Minnesota Duluth blew out Western Michigan, 8-0, picking up a loose puck and scoring from the left circle to put UMD up 3-0 early in the third period. Tufte's goal was the first of six in the third for the Bulldogs.

On Saturday, he tallied a power-play goal and chipped in two assists as the Bulldogs routed Western Michigan again, this time by a 6-1 score.
Tufte, Dallas' first-round pick (25th overall) in the 2016 NHL Draft, has 25 points (15 goals, 10 assists) in 32 games and leads the Bulldogs in goal scoring and ranks fourth in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
The sophomore forward ranks third on Minnesota Duluth in points and leads the team with 100 shots on goal.

G Jake Oettinger (1st round/2017) went 1-0-1 over the weekend stopping 60 of 61 shots including a 33-save shutout in Boston University's 2-0 win over Vermont. He also stopped 27 of 28 shots in a 1-1 tie with Vermont. Oettinger is 16-12-4 with a 2.50 goals against average and .912 save percentage.

Point is 13-9-5 and ranks 2nd in the nation in goals against average (1.72) and first in save percentage (.946). Colgate plays RPI in the ECAC tournament this weekend.
