DALLAS --Before the Stars embark on a crucial four-game road trip, they've got some business to handle at home on Tuesday when they host the Montreal Canadiens. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.
As part of Texas Rangers Night at American Airlines Center, the Stars will don special Rangers-inspired powder blue jerseys during pregame warmups to celebrate their MLB friends.

This is the first of two meetings between the Stars and Habs and the lone contest at AAC. These clubs are scheduled to close out their brief two-game slate on March 17 at Bell Centre. The Stars enter Tuesday's action riding a four-game point streak against the Canadiens (3-0-1), including wins in each of the previous two. They've also logged points in five of the past six (4-1-1) and eight of the past 10 (5-2-3) against Montreal.
The Canadiens have struggled mightily this season and enter Tuesday's game with the lowest points percentage in the NHL (.257). They've lost nine of their past 10 (1-7-2) and fell 5-2 on Monday to the Arizona Coyotes at Gila River Arena. With the loss, the Habs dropped to 7-25-5 on the season.
Nick Suzuki and Josh Anderson co-lead the Habs in goals (7), while Suzuki and Jonathan Drouin share first for the team lead in points (19). In his third season with the Canadiens, Suzuki has amassed 35 goals and 101 points in 164 career NHL games.
With goaltender Jake Allen sidelined with a lower-body injury, the Canadiens are utilizing Sam Montembeault and Cayden Primeau between the pipes. Montembeault is 1-6-3 with a 3.78 goals-against average and .897 save percentage, while Primeau is 1-3-0 with a 4.11 GAA and .883 SV%.
As for the Stars, Jason Robertson, who missed Saturday's game in Tampa with a lower-body injury, is questionable for Tuesday's contest against Montreal. Denis Gurianov and Braden Holtby were removed from the NHL's COVID protocol on Monday and were full participants in practice. Gurianov is expected to play alongside Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin.
