DETROIT -- With the odds stacked against them, the Stars on Friday simply found a way.
It was perhaps their most dramatic victory of the season, a thrilling 5-4 overtime victory over the Detroit Red Wings that featured a game-tying goal with 63 seconds left in regulation.

The Stars, who struggled so mightily on the road, have now pulled off back-to-back wins over Buffalo and Detroit.
Roope Hintz scored the overtime dagger for the Stars on the power play, but it was Jason Robertson who forced the extra session when he scored an enormous goal with the net empty at the other end of the ice.

It wasn't their best game, but neither was their performance in Buffalo. The Stars twice gave up leads shortly after taking them and fell behind 4-3 in the late stages of regulation to a Red Wings team that was 13-6-2 on home ice.
