Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the team has activated forward Ales Hemsky from injured reserve.
Hemsky, 33, missed the first four games of the 2016-17 season due to a groin injury injury he sustained during the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. The native of Pardubice, Czech Republic registered 39 points (13-26=39) in 75 regular-season games with Dallas last season.
The team also announced today that it has placed forward Jiri Hudler (illness) on injured reserve, retroactive to the game on Oct. 15 against Colorado. Hudler has appeared in two games this season, recording two takeaways.
