The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has activated defenseman Aaron Rome from injured reserve. Rome has missed the last 13 games with a lower body injury after being placed on injured reserve retroactive to the Feb. 23rd game against San Jose.
Rome, 29, has earned two assists, eight penalty minutes, and six shots in 11 games for Dallas this season. In 185 career NHL games, Rome has 24 points (6G-18A) and 164 penalty minutes. The Nesbitt, Man., native was Los Angeles' fourth-round selection (104th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and was signed by Dallas as a free agent on July 1, 2012.
