Cowboys great Dez Bryant calls out Stars' lineup

Before Tuesday's tilt against the league-best Tampa Bay Lightning, the Stars got an assist from someone who knows a thing or two about big games: former Dallas Cowboys All-Pro receiver Dez Bryant.

Bryant, wearing a personalized Stars jersey with his trademark No. 88 stitched on the back, called out the team's starting lineup in the dressing room and pumped the group up, encouraging the Stars to "be relentless."

The 30-year-old Bryant, a Lufkin, Texas native who spent eight seasons with the Cowboys and is currently on injured reserve with the New Orleans Saints, also took in pregame warmups from behind the Stars' bench.

Bryant, known for throwing up the "X" to celebrate his 73 career touchdowns, wasn't the only Dallas athlete at American Airlines Center on Tuesday. Mavericks star DeAndre Jordan also watched the game from ice level just behind the glass in a No. 6 Stars jersey.

After the game, Stars goaltender Ben Bishop met Jordan and gifted the 6-foot-11 center one of his own autographed sweaters.
