The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has activated defenseman Trevor Daley
from injured reserve. He suffered a shoulder injury against Carolina and was placed on injured reserve Dec. 16.
Daley, 26, has missed five games since injuring his shoulder against the Hurricanes. He has skated in 33 games so far this season, collecting five points (1g, 4a) and 13 penalty minutes. The 5-11, 199-pound defenseman ranks second on the team in time on ice with 22:25 minutes per game. Daley was Dallas’ second round selection (43rd overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
The Dallas Stars will face the Chicago Blackhawks at American Airlines Center Tuesday (7:00 pm, TV: Versus, Radio: Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket).
