Not unlike what he does with his play on the ice, Jamie Benn was able to stir the pot a little Tuesday during a video call among four players from Central Division teams.

The NHL has had four calls for the league's four divisions, and Benn was at his best when he was chirping other players on his call Tuesday. Zach Parise from the Minnesota Wild, Gabriel Landeskog from the Colorado Avalanche and Blake Wheeler from the Winnipeg Jets participated, and Benn revealed that he is often asking Wheeler to fight during a game and getting no response.
"I think I ask him to fight every game we play," Benn said.
Wheeler admitted that had been the case, saying there was one game when Benn probably asked 20 times.
"Third period, tied game, whatever," Wheeler said. "He's like, 'We going?'"

Parise interjected with his own question "Have you guys fought?"
The two said no, but Wheeler added: "We've got to."
Benn then was the one interjecting on a different subject. Landeskog was asked who cheats the most on faceoffs, and Benn chimed in: "Gabe's going to say the Stars as a whole team," making a reference to the fact that Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said earlier in the season that the Stars were notorious for cheating while trying to win faceoffs.
Asked his response, Landeskog said playing the Stars is brutal.
Benn said he's spending his time playing board games with his girlfriend, Katie, and also Nintendo 64. He's already watched "Tiger King" on Netflix and is pondering new shows to start binging.

The NHL is running the video chats and has asked some great questions to all of the players. When asked what teammate he would least like to be quarantined with, Benn said Alexander Radulov.
"The guy is crazy," Benn said. "He's a mess and you never know what he's up to. When he's got his family in town here, his pops and his son, and they're buzzing around the rink, nobody knows what's going on. Just Russian spoken everywhere."
Radulov often has family in town when his son, Makar, visits, and that includes his father, brother and nephews, who are quite visible around the rink.
As for the player he would most want to spend time with, Benn said it was Ben Bishop. He said he liked conversing with the big goalie and that they'd get along great. But if they had to be in one house, it would have to be Bishop's, Benn said, because Benn's house isn't childproofed.
The three other players in the video chat each have children and talked about them during separate introductions. When it came time for Benn to talk, he said: "No kids, so it sounds like I've got it easy."

When asked if he wanted children, Benn said: "We'll get there one day."
In the meantime, he said he's just doing his best to stay home and stay smart. He lives in Dallas full time now, so there's no real reason to head out of town. He said he simply wants to do whatever he can to help get the game back on the ice.
"If we stick together and do the right thing, we'll be looking forward to something much better," Benn said. "So, hopefully we get hockey back soon, and we can start playing in front of all the great fans in the NHL and especially here in Dallas."
