Campbell at USA Junior Evaluation Camp

by Staff Writer / Dallas Stars

Stars goalie prospect Jack Campbell is currently participating at the USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid, NY. He was scratched from Wednesday’s game vs. Finland, since USA has three goalies and one must sit every game.

Campbell did play the entire game on Tuesday vs. Sweden, stopping 24-of-27 shots in a 6-3 win.

Including three intrasquad scrimmages, Campbell has a 3.21 goals-against-average and an .881 save percentage with a 3-0-0 record in four games at the camp.

He stopped 9-of-10 shots in 31 minutes of an intrasquad scrimmage Saturday, helping his team "USA White" defeat team "USA Blue" by a score of 4-2.
