FRISCO, Texas –
The Dallas Stars announced today that the NHL club has placed left wing Brenden Morrow
on injured reserve with an upper body injury retroactive to Nov. 21.
Morrow, 32, has missed the past two games after suffering an upper body injury in the game against the Edmonton Oilers on Nov. 21. The Carlyle, Saskatchewan native has appeared in 20 games so far this season for the Stars, registering three goals, and six assists, totaling nine points. He ranks second on the team with 39 penalty minutes and is second among Dallas forwards with 57 hits. The 6-0, 205-pound forward has earned an even-or-plus rating in 17 of the 20 contests he’s played in this season.
The Dallas Stars are tied for first place in the Pacific Division and play against the Phoenix Coyotes tonight in Phoenix at 7 p.m. CT (TV: TXA-21, Radio: 1310 The Ticket).
