Stars center Radek Faksa and the Czech Republic will play for the bronze medal at the 2019 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia.
The Czechs fell, 5-1, to Canada in the semifinals Saturday and will take on Russia Sunday for third place at the tournament.
Vegas' Mark Stone tallied one goal and one assist and Pittsburgh's Matt Murray stopped 40 shots for Canada, which will play for the gold medal Sunday against Finland, a 1-0 winner over Russia in Saturday's other semifinal.
