2011 NHL Entry Draft Up Next For Dallas Stars

FRISCO, Tex. –The 2011 NHL Entry Draft will be held this Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25, at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Dallas Stars have the 14th overall selection in the first round, as well as the 44th overall selection in the second round. Dallas has a total of six selections in this year’s draft, including picks in the fourth (104th overall) and fifth (134th overall) rounds. The Stars do not currently have a pick in the third round due to a previous trade.

The first round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft will be held on Friday, June 24, with coverage on VERSUS, beginning at 6 PM (Central Time). Rounds Two through Seven will be held on Saturday, with coverage on the NHL Network. Teams will select in the following order in the first round:
