The Sharks were stuck in a bit of a rut lately. Looking to turn things around in Thursday night's game versus the Wild, San Jose focused on keeping it simple out on the ice. One puck to the face ... three power play goals ... and eight broken sticks later, the Sharks snapped a four-game winless streak and headed off on their road trip on a positive note.

Football or hockey? Easy choice.

Welcome to sunny California winter, Minnesota!

Thursday's Sharks vs Wild game:

A cute moment between Charlie Coyle and a Wild fan that went viral recently.

A cute moment between Jumbo and a Sharks fan earlier from the season. Totally viral-worthy.

As the holidays approach, Christmas spirit is in the air ...

Some line changes for the Sharks and a goalie change for the Wild.

First Period

The Sharks came out strong and capitalized on their first power play attempt of the night.

Although the Sharks couldn't score on the 5-on-3, Tomas Hertl made up for it during the one-man advantage.

Wondering who leads the Sharks in goals this season? Answer: #HertlPower (15th goal of the season)

Sharks go on the penalty kill after Demers is called for cross-checking.

Logan must not have eaten his Lucky Charms for breakfast. Unlucky all night.

Second Period

The two Joe's had a good night.

Another first for Hertl in his career.

Now that was an exciting penalty kill!

Who knew Snoop Lion (formerly known as Snoop Dogg) and San Jose Sharks would ever be in the same sentence together?

Third Period

Hertl's hard work definitely paid off as he had an awesome night all around.

Yes, Nemo is amazing.

Uh oh ...

Way too many broken sticks to count. Oh wait ...
