It's safe to say that Sharks fans can't wait to see Joe Thornton and Logan Couture back playing with the team.

The two key centermen have each suffered injuries recently with uncertain timetables of return, so it was a welcomed sight to see the duo back on the ice for the first time at Solar4America Ice at San Jose on Wednesday.

Thornton, who suffered a lower-body injury on March 2 in Vancouver, spoke with the media following his first stint back on the ice.

Couture, who cought a puck to the mouth on March 25 in Nashville, is taking things day-to-day, feels close to a return and can't wait to be playing the game of hockey soon again.
