Thornton Ranks Second Among Western Conference Forwards

by Staff Writer / San Jose Sharks
The latest standing in NHL All-Star balloting came out and the Sharks Joe Thornton has jumped back into the top three forwards in the online fan voting.  Fans looking to vote can go directly to http://www2.nhl.com/allstarballot/ or simply click on the All-Star logo on the right side of sjsharks.com’s home page.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Cheechoo and Patrick Marleau have steadily climbed up the standings and sit sixth and seventh respectively among forwards and are within striking distance of being voted into the mid-winter classic.

On the blueline, there is still time for Sharks fans to cast their votes for Scott Hannan or to write-in players such as Matt Carle, Evgeni Nabokov and Vesa Toskala and try to reward those players who have helped San Jose to an NHL best 2.10 goals-against-average.

Below is a complete list of voting in the Western Conference.
