Burns-Castaway

One might think a NHL player would be the perfect kind of person to get stranded on an island and be able to survive. But after asking the San Jose Shark players what 3 items they would bring to a deserted island, some of their survival rates weren't as high as we anticipated. Check out what the players would bring and how we would rank their survival odds:

Mikkel Boedker
Boat, Airplane, Helicopter
Rank: 10/10
Not sure there will be much island time for this guy.
Justin Braun
Fishing Pole, Tent, A lot of matches
Rank: 9/10
Former Boy Scout maybe? It sounds like he knows what he's doing.
Brent Burns
My backpack with all its contents, Brenden Dillon, A blender with solar power
Rank: 10/10
Let's be honest, this guy is always prepared to be stranded. We hope Dilly is ready!

Logan Couture
Phone, Book, Laptop
Rank: 3/10
At least he'll have lots of reading material?!
Aaron Dell
Food, Water, Boat
Rank: 10/10
World's Okayest Survivor.
Dylan DeMelo
Phone, Book, Water
Rank: 4/10
Might get a little hungry out there D. Dems.
Brenden Dillon
Netflix, Sunglasses, Ipod
Rank: 2/10
Definitely going to be that cool guy though.
Joonas Donskoi
Boat, Food
Rank: 7/10
Doesn't even need a third item, he's got what he needs.
Tomas Hertl
Food, Tommy Wingels, A game that I can beat him at
Rank: 6/10
Sounds like winning must be always. :-))
Paul Martin
Music, Hunting/fishing tool, Burns- the caveman is good at getting food.
Rank: 8/10
Always a good chance of survival when bringing #88.

Joe Thornton
Al Stalock, Lots of fresh water, Deck of cards
Rank: 3/10
Survival odds aren't great but it sure sounds like a fun time!
Chris Tierney
Knife, Martin Jones, Hot Plate
Rank: 6/10
Probably hoping Jones can catch some food like he does pucks.

Joel Ward
Pillow (I LOVE MY PILLOW!), Blanket, Sleeping Mask
Rank: 2/10
At least he'll be sleeping well!
Although it wouldn't be a long stay for some on the island, at least we know it'd be a fun one with the San Jose Sharks!
