Reimer, 33, appeared in 22 games for the Carolina Hurricanes in 2020-21, earning a 15-5-2 record with a 2.66 goals-against average (GAA) and a .906 save percentage (SV%). In his two seasons with Carolina, he registered an identical 2.66 GAA in 2019-20 and 2020-21, and held a .910 SV%. Over the course of his career, he has earned at least a .910 SV% or better in seven of his 11 seasons.

In his NHL career, Reimer has accumulated 385 career games, earning a 173-131-43 record, 2.79 GAA and .913 SV% with the Toronto Maple Leafs. San Jose, Florida Panthers, and Carolina. In the NHL postseason, Reimer has appeared in 11 games, earning a 5-5-0 record along with a 2.70 GAA and .925 SV%.

Internationally, the Morweena, Manitoba native has represented Canada twice at the World Championships (2011 and 2014), posting an cumulative record of 7-1, a .915 save percentage and a 2.13 goals-against average.
The six-foot-two, 220-pound goaltender was originally selected by Toronto in the 2006 NHL Draft (fourth round, 99th overall).
